Wow! This is the real deal. Extremely heavy and well made. This is a warranted No. 5 and would have been used in the pharmacy. The pestle has a wood handle with earthenware end. The two pieces have separated at one point in time and have been glue repaired. You can see a little chipping on the earthenware between the wood along with glue residue as pictured. The bowl has signs of wear, typical of use. The spout has some chipping on the end/edge as pictured.
