Rosewood Flip Top Desk by Peter Lovig Nielson

Description

Beautiful MCM Rosewood Flip Top Desk Crafted by Peter Lovig Nielsen in Denmark. Dated 1966 with the Lovig Logo on the bottom side. The desk features a unique flip-top that allows you to use the entire surface as a table or as a partners desk. There are two pullout drawer insert trays and dividers as well. The front of the desk has 4 drawers - the right center which is lockable and has the key. The Rosewood has been exposed to sunlight and as such, there are color variations in the top surface of the desk - light and dark inconsistencies. There is also an oval shaped water stain. All of these variations typical and expected on a piece of this vintage.
